Is Safe Hearth safe for kids and pets?

Auto-lock prevents children from changing the settings on the heater and the soft coating on the grate prevents burns from people or pets brushing up against it

Should I be concerned with Ozone with Safe Hearth?

Safe Hearth outputs a very small amount of Ozone which is not considered to be a health risk.  However, California and Canada have very strict air quality standards.  As a result, Safe Hearth may not be shipped to California or Canada.

What is the heating element in Safe Hearth?

The PTC heating element is made of ceramic stone and heats quickly while being energy efficient.  It is also durable, providing longer life for the heating element.  Unlike many other heaters, Safe Hearth provides a quiet, even heat that fills the entire room.

What is the ECO Mode?

Economy Mode – allows you to control the power output according to the room size to conserve energy
