My wife and I bought your whole home system and couldn’t wait to decide where to put the four units in our house. A couple of days after we got it all set up we had some friends visit us. They had never been in our home before. After a while I asked if they minded if I had a cigarette while we chatted.  And they said, “You smoke in the house?” I told them we did and asked if it was an issue for them. They said no, since they are also smokers. “Simple. Stop looking and just buy this one. It’s got a great price. You won’t see any better performance out of units that cost twice as much. I was searching for a tea filter and noticed this unit down on the page so I thought to myself that I should stop and write a quick review.  I actually bought this unit on June 25th, 2012. That’s 5 1/2 years ago and that’s 5 1/2 years of perfect operation. I’ve replaced disposable water filter three times. I’ve tested the ionization effect with a $250 pH tester from Extech – it works as advertised.  So I am pretty confident in giving it a 5 star review. My brother has two more expensive units which are double the price of this one. There is no performance difference except I think my Aqua Life unit looks better on the counter.  And I’ll repeat it again I have had perfect operation for 5 1/2 years. So, this is a stupid easy recommendation.”

“I looked at the Enagic Kangen water model which has similar properties, but is priced at double the amount and only has a 5 year warranty. So a clear choice to go with Air Water Life Aqua Ionizer Deluxe 9. The other thing I didn’t like of Enagic Kangen Water model was that to reach high level of alkalinity, it requires chemicals; the Air Water Life Aqua Ionizer Deluxe 9 doesn’t and I would not want chemicals in my water, so another big reason I went with the Deluxe 9 model.  The model Deluxe 9 has a lifetime warranty and had great reviews, so far very happy with it. The installation was really easy. I will buy the under the sink option and the three stage filters option, to filter out Flouride.”

“I’ve had this for just over a week and I don’t want to drink any other water now. I’ve wanted a water ionizer for some time as my experience with them in the past has been super positive (I’m highly active and really feel like the ionized water hydrates me better), and this compact-sized, single-use bottle is perfect. I’ve also been reading about the need for alkalinity in a high-protein diet as many sources of protein result in an acidic body environment. Adding this water to my daily intake of greens like spinach and kale feels really good.  Some things to be aware of (I thought of rating this four stars for the following reasons, but decided against it as they aren’t problems with the actual product, just with the messaging):

1. It takes a LONG time to charge up the first time. I would have appreciated an estimated time in the instructions. I was working in the yard and kept coming in to check on the unit, not knowing when it would be fully charged. All in all, I think it took about 6 hours. Again, that’s fine if you know what to expect.
2. It comes with a descaling solution for cleaning but the manual doesn’t include instructions for using it. The customer service at Air Water Life is fantastic though, so a quick phone call on maintenance answers all of your questions quickly.

Again, I highly recommend the Aqua Magic H2 if you’re looking for a convenient and affordable water ionizing option. You’ll love it!”
